On this page will show the mounting and installation of my cummins 24 valve  engine and allison 6 speed  transmission.  The allison is going to be an interesting challenge since no one has really come out with any kind of control module for it. Working through those issues as we speak. The helpful people and Fleece Performance and Cummins 4bt engine swap forums have given me some information that I am working with now to complete the control unit.

To the left you can see some pictures of the new beast of an engine I am dropping in the truck. I am currently waiting on the adaptor brackets from Ryan Eckley over at Fordcummins.com. He installed a 12 valve cummins into a late 70's blazer at his shop. They should match up to brackets I currently have in place that you can see to the right.

I will be adding more pictures of the mounting brackets before, during and after installation of the engine. I will also be posting clearance numbers for how well the engine sets in place and if the body needs any clearancing at all.
